Ingredients
3 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves garlic, chopped
4 cups diced roma tomatoes
¼ tsp. sea salt
3 tbsp. fresh basil leaves, chopped
1 pinch of pepper
Method
1.Heat the oil in a sauce pan over medium heat.
2. Add the garlic and cook, stirring, until soft, about 1 minute.
3. Add the tomatoes, the salt and the pepper and cook for 25 minutes.
4. Remove from heat and add the basil.
Serve with : pasta, lasagna, pasta with shrimps or crabs.
Variants
For those who like it spicier, add crushed red chile flakes or spiracha.
